Boca Juniors and Racing Club arrive in Al Ain for the Argentine Super Cup
Boca Juniors and Racing Club arrived at the Al Ain International Airport on Tuesday morning for the Argentine Super Cup at the Hazaa bin Zayed Stadium on Friday, January 20 at 7.30pm.
The teams were received by Mohammed Ahmed Al Rumaithi, Abu Dhabi Sports Council’s Director of International Events Department.
The Argentine Super Cup is held for the first time outside Argentina, following an agreement signed between the Abu Dhabi Sports Council and the Argentine Football Association.
The Super Cup, contested between the winner of Argentina's Primera Division and the winner of the Argentine Cup, will be played outside Argentina for the first time as part of a four-year agreement.
Boca Juniors will train for the upcoming event at the Tahnoon bin Mohammed Stadium, while Racing Club will prepare at the Khalifa bin Zayed Stadium. The pre-match conference is slated for Thursday, January 19, at 4.30 pm, at the Hazza bin Zayed Stadium.
